FAQ
Is sustainability expertise required?
No. Many of our members come from other industries. We value the drive to solve social problems and the curiosity to keep up with a fast-moving field.
How long does the process take?
Usually two weeks to about a month from application to offer.
Remote or in-office?
Mainly in-office. Engineers can work remotely. It varies by role and team.
Can I join as a side job?
Yes. If you have specialized skills, starting on a contract or side-job basis is welcome.
Can I balance childcare or caregiving?
Yes. With flextime, stepping out during the day is common. It's a self-directed culture: as long as you get things done, your time is your own.
How much say do I have in tech choices?
A lot. Introducing new stacks and proposing architecture improvements are welcome. Technical decisions are made bottom-up.
